Description: Spring is in the air with these sweet little Easter Chicks. | ||
1.Open an new image.
Using the path drawing tool, 2D , color #E9F47B,
make an elipse shape aprox. 95 x 95.
Make another ellipse shape aprox. 114 x 84.Place it over the
first shape you made to create this shape.
Merge these two as single object. 2. Click on the paint brush tool and using these settings, paint on edges.The orange color is #F7BC5B 
Make another ellipse shape aprox. 151 x 153. Paint on edges using the same settings. Place it behind the chicks head. 
3. Take the path drawing tool, color black, 2 D ellipse and make a small shape for the eyes.Duplicate and place on the chicks head. Take the path drawing tool again 2D color, #F7BC5B , diamond shape, and make a small shape for the beak. Take the paint brush tool, color black, size 3, trans. 0, soft edge 0, click on the mode icon, make sure the beak is active. Make two tiny dots on the beak. 
You can now select all objects and merge as single object. Set this little guy aside for now, We'll make an egg for him:) With the path drawing tool, 2D any color you like, draw an ellipse shape aprox. 153x 256. With the transform tool, perspective, move the top in a bit to make it more like an egg shape. 
Now go to effect, creative, partical effect, and pick snow. Leave the setting as is. Click ok. 
Now with the eraser tool, set to straight lines, make some jagged lines near the middle of your egg. 
Erase the top of your egg. You should now have just the bottom of your egg. Right click and add a shadow . 
With the transform tool, make your chick a bit smaller to fit in the egg nicely. 
Place you lil chick behind the half egg and there you have it:) You can even animate this little guy.  |
