1. Open a new image. With the path drawing tool. 2D color red, ellipse shape. Make
your first shape . Change to the Path Edit tool and play around with the nodes a bit until
you get a shape like this.

2. With the paint tool , click on mode , size 1, color black, paint a line down the middle of the
petal. Click mode agian , and combine the petal and the line as singel object. Now
take the blur tool and blur the line a little bit.
3.Duplicate this petal 7 more time. Line them up as shown here.
4. Once you have them in a nice circle, select all of them and merge as single object.
5. Duplicate this and with the transform tool, set to resize, make the duplicated one a bit larger. Rotate to the right 20 degrees. Send it to the back.
Your poinsettia should look like this now.
6. With the path drawing tool, custom shape, choose leaf 5. Make a leaf color
green. I darkened the color of the green a bit and also colored in the center of the
leaf to make it a solid color. Like this...

7.With the paint tool, color black , size 1, click on mode, draw some lines on the leaf like this.
Blur the lines the same as you did with the petal. Now go to effects and add some noise to the leaf.
8.Duplicate the leaf 4 times. Place them behind your poinsetta .With the eraser tool you can remove the stem of the leaf.
9. With the path drawing tool , 3D Chisel, color light green, make a small a circle for the center . Duplicate it as
many times as you need to cover up the center. Select all objects and merge as single object.
Thats it ,your all done. If you have any problems , just email me.
